Mooresville is a town with a rich history and a bright future. Located on the western shore of Lake Norman, about 25 miles north of Charlotte, Mooresville has earned its nickname as Race City USA by being home to dozens of NASCAR teams and racing-related businesses. But there is much more to this community than racing. A revitalized downtown, excellent schools, and the lake lifestyle make it one of the most desirable towns in the Charlotte region.
